STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE

September 3, 2016 By Mink Leave a Comment

Strawberry Banana Smoothi

Good morning! It is long weekend here in the United States and the weather this morning is just perfect. The sun is shining  and it’s 72 degree Fahrenheit which is about 22 degree Celsius.  I was up early, so I got my workout done and I am sweating like a dog. A Strawberry Banana Smoothie sounds like a great idea right about now.

If you like smoothies, I have other recipes posted. Here they are.

Strawberry Banana is the first smoothie I learned how to make. It’s super simple and you only need a few ingredients.

Let’s make some smoothie!

I used 1 banana, 2 cups of fresh strawberries, 1 cup of Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon of honey and about a half cup of ice.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Cut a banana into big pieces. Remove strawberry stems and leaves and cut them in half.

Put all the ingredients in the blender.

Blend everything together until smooth.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Voila! Your Strawberry Banana Smoothie is ready.  Taste it, if you like it sweeter, add more honey (or agave) and blend again for a few seconds.

I hope you give it a try. This Strawberry Banana Smoothie is so simple, quick and good for you.

Recipe type: Smoothie
Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or agave) (plus more to taste)
  • ½ cup of ice
Instructions
  1. Cut banana into big pieces. Remove strawberry stems and leaves and cut them in half.
  2. Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Notes
A lot of smoothie recipes will have some sort of liquid such as milk, soy or almond milk in it. You can add a splash of it if you want. I like my smoothie kind of thick so I don't add any liquid.
