NUTELLA ALMOND FRENCH TOAST

February 27, 2016 By Mink Leave a Comment

NUTELLA ALMOND FRENCH TOAST

Quick and easy breakfast to get your day started. Nutella Almond French Toast is perfect for weekend or weekday morning. It is getting warm (60°F.) today and we wanted to have a quick breakfast and get out and do things outside. Yes, 60 degrees Fahrenheit is considered warm for our 6-month long winter. The sun is out and we are ready to go.

Let’s cook some food!

Here is the army of the ingredients of my Nutella Almond French Toast, Nutella, toasted sliced almond, pure vanilla extract, ground nutmeg, milk (I’m using vanilla soy milk today), ground cinnamon, eggs, and some agave (or sugar).

FrenchToast4

Beat eggs, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, milk and agave or sugar in a shallow baking dish.

Spread Nutella on one side of two slices of bread. Spread toasted sliced almond evenly on one side.

FrenchToast3

Put the bread together, just like you are making a sandwich. Dip them in the egg mixture.

FrenchToast2

Melt butter in a medium pan. Put the egg coated bread in the pan and cook until golden brown on both side.

FrenchToast1

Slice in half, sprinkle with sliced almonds on top and serve with warm maple syrup. Enjoy your Nutella Almond French Toast and hope the rest of your day is a good one.
