Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add butter, brown sugar, sugar in a stand mixer with a paddle attachment. Mix together until creamy.
Mix in an egg, vanilla extract.
Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Add oats, walnuts, chocolate chips and coconut flakes.
Mix by hand with a spatula to prevent heating chocolate.
It is best if refrigerated for at least 1 hour before baking.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Use a tablespoon to scoop and form round cookies on cookie sheets. You can line your cookie sheets with parchment papers or Silpat. Press the dough gently.
Bake 9-12 minutes until the edges are slightly brown.
Allow to cool on baking sheet completely. Enjoy!
