Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
  • 2 avocados, halved
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 1½ lemons)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more to drizzle on the top
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
  1. Throw everything in the food processor. Blend until combined.
  2. Drizzle the top with extra virgin olive oil and cayenne pepper (optional). Garnish with a cilantro leaf (also optional). Serve with crispy flatbread or Pita chips.
