Start with simple syrup. Boil sugar and water in a small sauce pan (small pot). Once it comes to a boil, and sugar completely dissolves, turn off the heat. Set aside.
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Turn off the heat, add green tea bags into the pot and let them sit for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, discard the tea bags and let it cool.
Blend the raspberries in a food processor (or a blender).
Pour raspberry puree through a strainer. Use a spoon to push it through.
Add simple syrup into the tea, follow by strained raspberry puree. Stir to combine.
Refrigerate and chill for at least 1 hour. Serve over ice and garnish with additional raspberries and sliced lemon (optional).
