1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter (at room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl or electric mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll the dough into balls. Place them onto ungreased cookie sheets. Leave some space between them as they will expand.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks. Enjoy!
Notes
Use a melon baller or small ice cream scooper to form the same size cookie dough balls. If the dough is too soft, you can put it in the fridge for a few minutes until it gets firmer.
