STIR-FRIED SHRIMP AND VEGGIES

Ingredients
  • 24 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable or Canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons Golden Mountain Seasoning sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Agave
  • 1 teaspoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste (or black pepper if you don't like it spicy)
  • 5-6 dried whole chillies
  • green onions or chives to garnish
Instructions
  1. Heat up vegetable or Canola oil in a pan, medium high heat. Once the pan is hot, add minced garlic, stir until cooked but not burnt.
  2. Add the veggies, stir-fry until they started to get soften a little bit. It should only take just a minute.
  3. Add the shrimp, stir-fry 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
  4. Add the sauce, stir really quick to mix everything together. Take the pan off the heat.
  5. Add dried chillies (optional), stir a few more times. Garnish with chopped green onions or chives. Serve hot with a side of steamed rice or quinoa.
Notes
Usually, you would want to cook meat first but shrimp takes only a few minutes to cook and you don't want to over cook them so in this recipe, cook veggies first.
