Ingredients
  • 2 cups chicken broth or stock
  • ½ cup quinoa
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce (or light soy sauce)

Instructions
  1. Rinse quinoa in a strainer under running water for about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add quinoa and chicken broth (or chicken stock) into a small pot, medium high heat.
  3. Cook the quinoa for about 10-15 minutes until you see a tiny spirals separating and curling around the seeds.
  4. Add the chicken and carrot. Let them cook thoroughly until the carrot is tender but not mushy.
  5. Season with 2 tablespoons of Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce (or light soy sauce) and pepper.Sprinkle some chopped green onion and serve hot.
