First, make the balsamic reduction. Cook it in a small sauce pan until it is reduced by ¼, medium low heat, about 10 minutes. Don't walk away from it, keep shaking the sauce pan from time to time so it won't burn.
Let it cool while you are cutting half a pear into thin bite sizes. Basically, small enough to go on your cracker.
Once the balsamic reduction cools down, spoon a small dollop on top of each cracker.
Place a piece of pear on top. Follow by a chunk of Gorgonzola cheese. Then, finish with a blackberry. Appetizer is ready!
