ASIAN PORK BURGER WITH SRIRACHA MAYO

Ingredients
  • 1 pound less less fat ground pork (you can use any ground meat)
  • 2 tablespoons Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce (or light soy sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon Oyster Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Fish Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 4 potato buns (or any burger buns).
  • butter for your buns
  • sliced tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • 3 tablespoons Mayo
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • 4 sliced of Swiss cheese
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix the ground pork with minced garlic, Oyster Sauce, Fish Sauce, Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce (or light soy sauce), sugar, pepper, and chopped chives. Divide it into 4. Make the patties and set aside.
  2. Start the grill. While waiting for the grill, make the Sriracha mayo. Mix Sriracha sauce and mayo in a small bowl.
  3. Once the grill is ready, put the burgers on the grill. To test the heat, wave your hand 8 inches above the burner. Move quickly, if the grill is at its proper heat you will not be able to hold your hand above the burner for more than 2 or 3 seconds.
  4. Grill about 4-5 minutes on each side. Take out the burgers and let them rest on a plate.
  5. Butter your buns.Grill one side for a minute or two until you see the grill marks. Flip them and put sliced cheese on top. Take them out of the grill once the cheese starts melting.
  6. Assemble the burgers, put sliced tomatoes, lettuce or whatever you like on your burgers, just don't forget to spread both sides of the buns with the Sriracha mayo. Enjoy!
Notes
Green onions can be substitute for chives if you don't have it but you might want to use less because they are stronger.

To test the heat, wave your hand 8 inches above the burner. Move quickly, if the grill is at its proper heat you will not be able to hold your hand above the burner for more than 2 or 3 seconds. When you put the burgers down, you will hear the sizzling sound.
