Recipe type: Pork Chops
Cuisine: Caribbean
Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 4 bone-in Pork Loin Chops (about 2 lbs.)
  • 4 tablespoons Golden Mountain Seasoning Sauce (or light soy sauce)
  • 3 tablespoons Agave (or sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon Jamaican Jerk seasoning
Instructions
  1. Mix Golden Mountain (or light soy sauce), jerk seasoning, Agave (or sugar) in a large zip lock bag, add pork chops and seal the bag. Make sure you get the air out as much as you can. Let them marinated for at least and hour or even better overnight.
  2. Take out the Pork Chops from the fridge about an hour before grilling.
  3. Heat up the grill (we use gas grill), the temperature inside of the grill should be about 350 degree F. Place the Pork Chops on the grill, you know the grill is ready when you hear the sizzling sound.
  4. Cover the grill. Grill them on medium heat until the internal temperature is 160 degree F, about 4 minutes on each side, this depends on how thick your pork chops are.
  5. Serve with fresh Mango Salsa and Coconut Rice.
Notes
Let the Grilled Jerk Pork Chops rest on a platter covered with foil for about 5 minutes before serving, this will allow the meat to settle with its juice and your meat will be juicier. If you cut it right away when they fresh off the grill, all the juices will run out and you will end up with dry pork chops.
